Data Protection Policy

Royal & Ross LP will collect no personal information about you when you visit our website unless you choose to provide that information.

What personal data do we collect and why?

Contact forms. Basic user information is collected for the purpose of communicating with you and providing service to you.

We collect information in two ways: if and when you provide information to us. Let’s go over the information that we collect.

  • Contact form: we ask for basic contact information from you in order to communicate with you
  • Online newsletter: we request your email address in order to provide information to you regarding our services.

Cookies. We use cookies to compile aggregate data about website traffic and website interaction so that we can offer better website experiences and tools in the future. We may contract with third-party service providers to assist us in better understanding our website visitors. These service providers are not permitted to use the information collected on our behalf except to help us conduct and improve our business. Services include Google Analytics.

If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie includes no personal data and simply indicates the post ID of the article you just edited. It expires after 1 day.

Embedded content from other websites. Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracing your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

Who we share your data with

We do not sell, trade or otherwise transfer to outside parties your personally identifiable information. This does not include trusted third parties who assist us in operating our website, conducting our business or servicing you, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential. We may also release your information when we believe release is appropriate to comply with the law, enforce our website policies, or protect our or others’ rights, property or safety. However, non-personally identifiable visitor information may be provided to other parties for marketing, advertising or other uses.

Because we value your privacy, we do not distribute your personal information to outside parties without your consent. Any user can use the ‘Unsubscribe’ link found at the bottom of any email newsletter sent to be removed from our mailing list immediately.

How long we retain your data

We generally discard information about you from contact forms when we no longer need the information for the purposes for which we collect and use it–which are described in the section above on What Personal Data We Collect and Why We Collect It –and we are not legally required to continue to keep it.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
